Positive Reviews

Tranquil setting atop a hill

Guests indicate that the hostel is set in a calm and quiet neighbourhood – amidst a large garden on top of a hill. They get to enjoy an undisturbed sleep due to the property’s tranquil setting.

Budget-friendly accommodations

The main reason for staying here, according to reviewers, is the cheap room rate. Visitors find this hostel ideal for backpackers or short-term travellers who need a room to sleep for a night or two.

Negative Reviews

Substandard room cleanliness

Cleanliness of the rooms is perceived to be unsatisfactory. Guests complain of dust in almost all areas of the rooms, hairs on the floors, and stained bed sheets. They even report sightings of dead insects and cobwebs in some rooms.

Disappointing communal areas

Reviewers report that the condition of the hostel’s communal areas is depressing. The say the common kitchen is not maintained well and almost unusable. The shared toilets of each floor are also commented to be filthy and disgusting, and do not have a regular supply of toilet paper.

Long walk from points of interests

Whilst tranquil and quiet, the location is reportedly remote and difficult to locate. Visitors specify that the hostel is on an uphill street and about ten to 15 minutes’ walk from the nearest metro or tram station. They also mention that there are only a few restaurants, nightlife establishments, and shops in the immediate area.
