Positive Reviews

Convenient location to major transport networks.

The Langely Arms enjoys a prime location that is close to three major transport networks including the M32, the M4 and the M5 motorways. Just five miles from Bristol city centre and lots of free parking means that getting around Bristol on business or on

Traditional charm of a 17th century farmhouse is very appealing.

The newly renovated farmhouse turned guesthouse offers the opportunity of experiencing a piece of English history within a comfortable and cosy modern living space. Many of the rooms feature original exposed beam work (support beams) as well as mullioned

Adjoining restaurant and pub offers convenience and fun.

The Langely Arms is a bit different to most establishments in that the pub and restaurant are separate from the accommodation. The pub and restaurant are run by the same family and provide a range of traditional English home cooked meals and some internat

Negative Reviews

Cooked breakfast is not complimentary and is rather limited.

A self-service continental style breakfast is complimentary and consists of cereals, bread and jam or marmalade and instant coffee. It is possible to order a cooked breakfast at an additional charge per person.

Pub with live music can be very loud and disruptive.

The pub offers live music nights as well as private parties and although the pub is housed in a separate building, the volume is still loud enough to make getting to bed early impossible. This can cause disruptions to those wanting a quiet night in.

Tiny bathrooms with tiny showers.

Bathrooms and showers are very small, and provide just enough space to shower or use the basin. No space is provided to keep even basic toiletries in the bathroom during the stay.
