Positive Reviews

Beautiful and accessible location

The grounds surrounding the hotel are well kept and beautiful, providing a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere It is easy to get to from the M4 and M5, and just a short drive to the city centre.

Delivers on comfort and space

The rooms are very good size, nicely decorated and very clean The beds are very comfortable, so all in all it makes for a great place to relax spend time.

Service and food up to standard

Staff at this hotel are friendly, helpful, and provide good service all round The restaurant and bar are nice, serving good food including a great breakfast.

Negative Reviews

Could do with a revamp

The hotel is dated and many aspects look tired The whole place would benefit from refurbishment, especially the bathrooms which are very old and in some cases simply shabby.

Expensive for what you get

The hotel is removed from the city, with nothing around it and very little to do in the way of activities and facilities Considering how basic it is, it is overpriced and therefore not very good value.

Check if there’s a wedding booked

This hotel is of an acceptable standard, but if there is a wedding going on during your stay you may wish to stay elsewhere You can hear noise from the party until late at night, as well as wedding guests up and down the corridors until the early hours.
