Positive Reviews

A local treasure.

Popular with locals, the hotel is a focal point within Bridlington. There’s a busy, friendly local bar featuring some great entertainment nights which visitors can join in. There are quite a few letting rooms so it’s not unusual to see a visiting coach

Great staff.

Very friendly, the staff here set the tone for your visit. Whether you are staying over in one of the en-suite rooms or just calling in for a drink and a snack, there’s always a warm welcome.

Freedom with catering.

There is no breakfast served here and just daytime sandwiches and bar snacks. This is a busy part of town though with lots of cafes for breakfast and restaurants for later meals. There’s something to suit all tastes and budgets and you are welcome bring

Negative Reviews

Needs a thorough clean.

Shower areas suffer from mould and drawers are notorious for harbouring hair, crumbs etc. Floors, too, are less than perfect and they can miss out on supplying essentials such as towels.

Home alone.

Once the bar closes, everyone, including staff, go home; so there’s nobody here in the event of emergency.

Problems that are best not to sleep on.

Mattresses could do with an inspection and possible replacement. Mattress protectors over stained mattresses are like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.
