About Hotel Ariston

This casual budget hotel is set in a commercial building less than two kilometres from Bolzano's medieval city centre. Friendly service and easy access to the Talvera River characterise a stay at Hotel Ariston.

Straightforward guest rooms with a minimalist vibe feature hardwood floors and sofas. Work desks and flat-screen TVs are standard additions too. Mini fridges are available upon request (surcharge).

Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi access anywhere in the building, and make use of free private parking. A covered bike garage with inflation pumps is on hand too. Owners of well-behaved pets are welcome to bring their animals with them (fees apply).

There are several eateries and bars close by to the hotel, including the handy Ristorante pizzeria le bon located just 50 metres away.

Bolzano train station and the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology – home of 'Ötzi', the famed Mummy of Similaun – are both less than two kilometres from Hotel Ariston.

Positive Reviews

Warm and friendly personnel

Impressed travellers identify the agreeable attitude and general friendliness of staff as one of the hotel's standout features. Guests really like operatives' informal and personable approach, and appreciate how willing they are to do more than just the remit of their job.

Very clean interiors

Reviews suggest the overall standards of cleanliness maintained here are worthy of high praise. Visitors are consistently impressed by the pristine appearance of the interiors, and comment frequently on how fresh and appealing their rooms look upon arrival.

Negative Reviews

Parking can be tricky and isn't really private

Many travellers call out the hotel's claim that it offers private parking. Disgruntled reviewers say rather than being in any way 'private' or 'off-street', guests have merely the option of parking on the street with a parking licence given to them by reception. Drivers also complain that finding an available parking spot near the hotel can be quite a challenge at times.

No on-site restaurant

Visitors are distinctly underwhelmed by the fact that, save for a couple of vending machines, there are are no dining options at this hotel at all. This is offset somewhat by the proximity of several local eateries, but it's fair to say many guests are still disappointed.

Reception closes early

Guests arriving late in the day note that the reception desk closes quite early, making checking in or seeking assistance at night a challenge.
