Home away from home

Guests were overwhelmed by the lovely welcome and treatment by the owners of The Cottage. Owners were very pleasant, friendly and helpful which made the guests feel absolutely at home. They took out time to address each and every query of the guests. The cottage was done up in a very cosy and comfortable way. Kids even played along with the family dog Carlos.

Serene location; good facilities

The location of the cottage that was right in the middle of a village overlooking gardens was loved by the guests. They could relax in the peaceful and tranquil environment. Kitchen was well equipped with everything that the guests needed which made their stay hassle free and full of enjoyment.

Wonderful breakfast

Continental breakfast was very good. The freshly laid eggs and a log burning stove brought back the rural ambience which was loved by the guests. Homemade apple juice, honey and jams were considered a real treat.

Negative Reviews

Slow water pressure in taps

Few of the guests were hassled by the slow water pressure in the taps and showers. This made it difficult for the guests to even wash their hands.

Poor Wi-Fi connection

The Wi-Fi connection was bad, which caused a lot of difficulty for the guests who were working online. Some of them felt totally cut off from the outside world. However, the owners have reassured that they are working on the Wi-Fi connection considering how important it is to be connected.

Difficult to locate

Few guests felt that it is difficult to find the cottage with limited address information. They felt that more information and address details about the cottage should be stated clearly.
