Positive Reviews

Fabulous location

Guests love the setting of the Meadowsweet Hotel, describing how it is within touching distance of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park with views to die for. As you might expect, there are some wonderful hiking trails in the area. Be sure to ask your host for details of the best ones - reviews suggest they're only too happy to oblige.

Quirky rooms

With ten individually designed rooms, you never quite know what sort of decor you'll get but you can feel confident that it will be quirky and interesting with some original features. The selection of included amenities adds comfort and convenience without detracting from the character of the rooms.

Enjoyable dining

Guests rave about the on-site restaurant, Lle Hari, commenting that the breakfast sets you up nicely for the day and the standard of the evening meals is fantastic. Lle Hari seems to be something of a tourist attraction in its own right, attracting numerous positive reviews from visitors.

Negative Reviews

No lift in the property

Several guests mention that there is no lift, although you shouldn't let this put you off unless mobility problems stop you from tackling stairs. Guests consistently mention that they were offered assistance with their luggage. There are a few exceptions to this but you only need to ask for help.

Small car park

Some reviews suggest that the hotel's car park is too small to cater for the potential number of guests. This is typically an observation rather than a complaint as there is ample street parking to be found nearby.

Minor issues

Feedback about this hotel is generally very positive. Any comments that are less than complimentary relate to minor issues. Some guests found the decor was not to their taste and a few others mention cheesy music being piped into the breakfast room.
