About Benalmadena Rentals

Benalmadena Rentals offers a range of property rentals within the Marina area of Benalmadena on Spain’s Costs del Sol.

Standard features include flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a kitchen with microwave and oven and a furnished outside terrace. Towels and bed linen are supplied and two-bedroom apartments have one, or two, bathrooms; plus  air conditioning and free Wi-Fi are also standard inclusions.

Communal facilities vary depending upon the apartment location but some have a pool and garden for relaxation.

Convenience stores are numerous (for the self-caterer) but they are outnumbered in Puerto Marina by the impressive choice of restaurants. Indian City and Pinocho are just two of many. Homesick (?!) ‘Brits’ have been known to frequent The Last Resort for a traditional fried breakfast.

The beach is a five-minute walk away and it’s a 15-minute journey to Malaga Airport by car –or via the local train which takes you to the ‘doorstep’.

Positive Reviews

A variety of good locations.

These are apartments in various locations within the small area around the Marina area. Accommodation standards may vary a bit, but, generally; many apartments are in a terrific location in a gated complex, ‘slap-bang' in the centre of the Marina area.

Good support.

The ‘agent's' team is very helpful; very friendly and not formal at all. If anything, they seem to be more efficient at dealing with things and finding solutions, than those employed by a large tour firm.

A fabulous area.

The focal point is Puerto Marina and the adjoining shopping complex. Enjoy ambling along the quayside, taking in the magnificent boats and seeing ‘how the other half lives', before investigating shops of all descriptions in the complex itself. *It's not ‘seasonal' - the complex is open every day of the year! As for beaches and bathing, your apartment may well have access to a pool. If not, there's the ‘Med' and 10 kilometres of beach here!

Negative Reviews

A little bit dated.

This particular apartment is beginning to show its age and is a bit dated now. Still OK, though. It's of no particular worry to most holiday makers but, for some reason, there are no English TV channels!

Who are you dealing with?

This company does seem to be a few steps up from being a one-man band and it doesn't seem to be registered anywhere. That's the only ‘niggling' concern. Most aspects seem fine.

Eccentric Spanish ‘electrics'.

If you finish up in this apartment, there are wires hanging out of the wall, no electricity in one bedroom and if you turn the oven on to cook a meal, the fuse blows! Disaster back home, but not unusual here. It'll be fixed … ‘manana'!!
