Positive Reviews

Definitely dine in

Reviews of Amanhavis Hotel's restaurant were so glowing they bordered on hyperbolic, with many happy patrons claiming it to be the best restaurant in Spain, and some going so far as to say it was one of the top ten places they'd eaten at anywhere in the world. They emphasize locally sourced ingredients and put a creative spin on traditional Spanish foods.

So much attention to detail

Each of the rooms are individually themed and furnished, and guests were quite impressed with the level of detail that went into the design of each room. Some of the themes include "The Philosopher's Study" which has quills and a 100 year-old Bible on the desk, and "The Astronomer's Observatory" which has a skylight and working telescope.

Their customer service is top notch

Nearly everyone who stayed here or ate at the restaurant agreed that their customer service is excellent. The employees were very professional, and those that interacted with the owners of the hotel found them to be friendly and personable.

Negative Reviews

They host a lot of events

Weddings and other events are popular at this hotel, and some guests who stayed during an event they were not part of found that their needs came second to those of the party goers. They complained of loud music, and that the common areas of the hotel like the pool and restaurant were monopolized by the banquet guests.

Parking can be tricky

Multiple guests complained that there wasn't always parking available at the hotel, and they were forced to spend much of their trip hunting for a space of the side streets.

It's a little pricey

Many guests noted that both the rooms and restaurant prices were on the high side compared to other establishments in the area.
