Positive Reviews

Magnificent menu

According to reviews, the B&B serves a fantastic breakfast and a superior afternoon tea. Many visitors come here for the food alone. Guests were very impressed with the breakfast offerings, commenting on the above-average selection. The afternoon tea is also said to be quite exquisite, with a great selection of snacks and sweet treats.

Pleasant people

The hotel staff have left plenty of positive impressions on their guests. In reviews, travellers repeatedly praise them for their kind hospitality and their accommodating attitude. Guests described their experience here as comfortably personal without the staff being too pushy.

Located by Lisburn Road

Guests found the B&B conveniently located near the high street while being tucked away in a quiet area. Guests liked that they could easily check out the local dining and bar scene within walking distance. Others also mentioned that there is plenty of shopping a short stroll away.

Negative Reviews

Slow service

As much as guests enjoyed their food, most weren't too happy with the service. It seems that unless you're the only customer, you should expect to wait for your food. Guests noticed that the more people the staff serve, the slower it gets.

Shower trouble

Many guests reported having a bad experience with the shower. Half of the guests complained about poor water pressure, while others thought the water wasn't hot enough.

Lack of in-room kettles

Most guests missed having a kettle in their room, as not all rooms have them. Even though there are complimentary coffee/tea facilities in the common area, guests would have preferred to have their own personal equipment in the room.
