Positive Reviews

Lovely House, Superb Value

The architecture and decor are tasteful and many original features have been retained. An excellent value. Close to Belfast attractions within about a fifteen or twenty-minute walk, as well as Queens University campus. The Botanical Gardens are only three blocks away. There's a chair lift for those with mobility issues and parking along the street is usually quite easy. The breakfast selection is bountiful with continental options, pancakes and the hot Full Irish served up alongside.

Elegant, Spacious Rooms

Beds are cosy, bathrooms are large, and the bedding is fit for nobility. Fair trade coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits await you as well as mints, and the rainforest shower head is heaven - as is the underfloor heating. You can control your own thermostat so there's no need to sweat or freeze. You'll find an extra fan in the closet should you need an extra breeze or white noise.

Stellar Staff

This place is lovely, but the staff are what make it stand out above the rest. From arrival to departure, your hosts will surpass your expectations with their friendly helpfulness. Kudos!

Negative Reviews

A Few Room Niggles

The rooms are kept up to a high standard, but there can always be an occasional miss. Handles are somewhat loose on some furnishings, there may be a stain or two on certain fabrics and toiletries, sadly, are not provided so you'll need to bring your own. The bath towels are standard size, not full size.

Weak Wi-Fi

As you get up higher in floors, you may find the Wi-Fi gets weaker. Try to connect in the lobby if all else fails.

Not the Best Neighbourhood

You may not love being out after dark in the surrounding neighbourhood, although you will probably be just fine. Exercise caution and stay in groups.
