Positive Reviews

Great countryside location

By far the biggest attraction is the location. Set in the countryside near walking and cycling trails, and within easy walking distance of quaint country pubs, the setting for this accommodation has been described as idyllic and great place to relax in.

Very comfortable and cosy

The cottages themselves are very well appointed to provide guests with a luxury experience. As well as the traditional features you might expect from a property of this type, such as old-fashioned fireplaces, there are mod cons too to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The kitchen is well equipped, while there are a range of multi-media devices available too.

Lovely treats on arrival

Guests are pleased to find treats such as fancy chocolates awaiting them on arrival. This was as unexpected as it was welcome, and helped make for a more memorable stay.

Negative Reviews

Might be a bit difficult to find

Some guests have suggested that the accommodation is difficult to find, especially late at night. This is partly because of the countryside setting, and partly because of the less than ideal signposting on the roads nearby. Make sure you get clear instructions on where to go before you set off, or use a reliable sat-nav to guide you there.

Late check-in, early check-out

Though not a major issue, some guests have said that a check-in time of 4 pm and a check-out time of 10.30 am are not great. This is considered by some to be too late and too early respectively.

Not enough loo roll

Some basic supplies are provided by the owners before you arrive, including loo roll, but some guests have said there is not enough of it. It might be best to bring some extra supplies with you for your break away.
