Lovely guesthouse and relaxed atmosphere.

Reviews for The Hollies are overwhelmingly positive. At the Hollies you will certainly find a good book to relax with in the library and nice spot to sit in in the garden. The rooms are clean, cosy, beautifully decorated, and have comfortable beds decked

Kind and lovely owners.

At The Hollies you can expect to be greeted at the door with a smile and have your luggage carried to your room. The hosts are ready to provide you with plenty of information about Bath, the local sites to visit and how to best get there. Where possible,

Fresh and tasty breakfast.

Start your day with a cooked full English breakfast, or a vegetarian version if you prefer. Breakfast is made with fresh ingredients many of which are locally produced, including home-made jams.

Negative Reviews

A little walk from the city centre.

While the city centre as well as many attractions can be reached within 20-minutes’ walk, some guests felt that the guest house was a little too far out from the centre. On the way back to the guest house, there is also a big hill to walk up.

Rooms are lovely but a little small.

The rooms are quaint and cosy, though some guests felt that the rooms are too small. The shower room has also been describe as small.

Rooms heat up in warm weather.

This guest house is not equipped with air conditioning. As a result, it can become quite hot and stuff in the rooms on warm or sunny days.
