Positive Reviews

Relaxing seaside hotel.

This hotel's location makes it a paradise for people who enjoy being on the water. Many of the rooms feature beautiful views of the sea and nearby cliff trails are great for a leisurely and scenic stroll.

Staff are always very accommodating.

Guests of the Bayview Hotel will receive plenty of help and great service from every person on staff. These helpful employees are very friendly and do a lot to add to enjoyable stays.

On-site dining is a must for seafood lovers.

Travellers who enjoy a nice piece of fresh fish will want to sit down for a meal here. The award winning restaurant serves Irish cuisine but is popular mostly for their gourmet seafood choices that are plentiful and can be enjoyed as part of an outside dining experience when weather permits.

Negative Reviews

Some rooms have a damp smell.

More ventilation and some better cleaning is needed for several of the rooms at this hotel. Due to its location so near to the sea, carpeting and other furnishings often have a damp smell that bothers some guests.

Wi-Fi signal is very limited.

Not every room at the Bayview Hotel offers a strong Wi-Fi connection. Some guests will have to abandon connecting online in their rooms and rely on the signal offered in the restaurant and other common areas.

Food is a bit expensive.

Dining on-site at the Bayview Hotel offers plenty of delicious items, but at a high price. The restaurant holds several awards, but guests don't always feel that justifies the large bill they receive at the end of their meal.
