Positive Reviews

Perfectly located near the Cathedral

The hotel is in the centre of Armagh giving guests the perfect location for sightseeing and shopping. Many people return every year due to the added convenience of not needing to drive. Guests can walk into the centre of Armagh or use the bus service.

Huge bedrooms and comfortable beds

The bedrooms are described as being very big in size so there is plenty of space to relax. Guests have everything they need for a comfortable nights sleep in the huge beds provided.

Great food

The food served within the hotel has many great reviews. The restaurant is open to guests as well as the public and appears to be a very popular place to eat. Staff are very helpful and there is plenty to choose from on the menu.

Negative Reviews

Rooms need renovating

The reviews from previous guests explain the rooms are in need of a revamp. Paint is peeling from the walls, carpets look tired and curtains are drab.

Radiators dont work

Some of the room reviews state the radiators do not work and the porter has to come and supply electric heaters. This issue may have been resolved however there are reviews mentioning the whole hotel is cold in the winter.

Long wait to be served at breakfast

As the hotel is a very popular busy place, the waiting time at breakfast has sometimes been as long as an hour for some previous guests. Those waiting for dinner have also stated there are huge gaps between each course and they even had to ask for cutlery.
