Excellent Staff Go Above and Beyond

The staff at the Armagh City Hotel are exceptionally friendly and well-trained Staff at Reception are friendly, helpful and understanding The staff at the Hotel's Friary Restaurant and Callan Bar are also courteous and speedy about their duties.

Delicious Restaurant Food and Great Bar Atmosphere

The menu on offer at the Friary Restaurant is varied and each course prepared is delicious The restaurant also operates a carvery for lunch as well as offering a traditional Sunday Lunch on the weekend The Callan Bar features live music on Friday and Saturday nights and is frequented by the local community as well which creates a lively atmosphere Although for guests wanting to get out the hotel is centrally situated in the town of Armagh with a variety of surrounding pubs offering good food and drink as well.

Superb Conference and Meeting Facilities

The conference and meeting facilities at the hotel are excellent and state of the art There are a variety of different sized venues to book for large or small meetings The staff at the hotel are also incredibly helpful and knowledgable and have experience helping guests organise and execute meetings and presentations The hotel also provides a lovely wedding service and arrangements for guests.

Negative Reviews

Some Front Rooms Can be Noisey

Some guests have complained about noise levels when staying at the front of the hotel or above the reception area, especially over the weekend However peace and quiet can be gauranteed by requesting a room to the rear of the hotel.

Dirty Rooms and Ammenities

Some guests have complained of dirty rooms and toilets both in the rooms and the lobby during business functions However the staff are very accomodating and helpful when this is drawn to their attention.
