Positive Reviews

Central location

Set right on the edge of the city centre, the location of this hostel hits the mark with guests. Shops and restaurants are nearby, as are some of the area’s most popular attractions. Guests have no problem exploring the city on foot.

Delicious breakfast

Breakfast gets top marks from guests. The meal is plenty generous enough for guests, who are also appreciative of the choice of dishes available. Eating the meal on the property’s terrace while soaking up the volcano views is an experience that visitors love.

Impressive hospitality

Guests are routinely impressed with the hospitality offered at this Antigua Guatemala hostel, describing the staff as friendly and attentive. Guests who need assistance during their stay or perhaps a dining recommendation find these are readily available.

Negative Reviews

Small rooms

Rooms here are generally found to be clean and comfy but they are also roundly described as small. Storage space – and indeed space to move around – appears to be compromised by the number of beds placed in each room.

Noise can be an issue

At least some of the rooms at the hostel attract complaints from guests concerning the noise level. The rooms that prove most problematic are typically those on the ground floor and, in particular, those facing the street and/or near the kitchen area.

Tricky to find

Guests can have a hard time finding this property in the first instance. Those looking for a brightly coloured building – as the name of the property suggests – find the hostel is not painted as expected. A lack of signage only serves to add to the problem.
