Outstanding Location in the Centre of the City

This B&B is located in the perfect area to explore the city. Guests reported that everything they wanted to see was within a ten-minute walk of the property. Restaurants, shops, museums and bars are all around and tram stations are nearby for those who want to wander beyond the downtown area. Guests also reported that it's easy to find, the views of the canals are spectacular and despite being so central, the area is very quiet.

Friendly Staff Go Above and Beyond

Guests reported that upon arrival, the owners of the B&B greeted them and made them feel welcome and at home. They get guests checked in quickly, provide them with information about the hotel and the area and show them to their room. They know the city well and love to share their knowledge.

Large Breakfast Each Morning

Guests reported that the breakfast served each morning is more than enough. There is much to choose from and it makes for the perfect start to a day of exploring the city of Amsterdam.

Negative Reviews

There are Lots of Mosquitoes

Guests reported that mosquitoes are a big problem around this hotel and the provided mosquito nets don't do much to prevent bites. Also, to reduce the number of mosquitoes in the rooms, guests reported having to leave their windows closed even on warm nights.

There are Lots of Stairs to Climb

Guests reported that there are no lifts at this hotel so they were required to climb several flights of stairs with their luggage.

The Guest Rooms are Shabby and Unkempt

Guests reported that the rooms at this hotel are not the cleanest. Also reported was uncomfortable beds, dated decor and shabby furnishings.
