Negative Reviews

Hotel's potential not recognised.

Guests have been keen to highlight the hotel’s potential, however a large amount of reviews have stressed that the hotel is in need of a revamp. Guests have claimed that the rooms feel out-dated and are starting to look quite shabby, and have lamented that the outside of the hotel isn’t looking much better. In most cases, guests have noted that, with a bit of love, the hotel could become an impressive establishment.

Low shower height.

The shower may cause an issue if you’re above average height. Several reviews have noted that showers in some rooms can’t be adjusted any higher than chest-height, which has caused some inconvenience. There have been occasional reports of inconsistent water pressure too.

Overly hot rooms throughout the year.

Summer stays might result in a sweat. The hotel lacks air-conditioning, and guests have noted that opening the window does little to cool down the room. There have been a number of complaints regarding the stuffiness of the rooms, and many reviews have stated that the heat has caused disrupted sleep.
